Poetry Collection of Poet Shafiqul Islam of Bangladesh

Shafiqul Islam was born on 10th February at Khuliapara in Sheikhghat in Sylhet district. He got a post-graduate degree in Economics and Social Welfare from Dhaka University. Apart from this,

he obtained Masters in Islamic Studies from Asian University.

He is the former Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka, former ADC of Brahmanbaria district Andrew currently Deputy Secretary of Bangladesh Government. Among the countries he has visited are Britain, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea and the Philippines. 

He has been doing poetry since childhood. He was awarded the Bangladesh Council Literary Award in 1981. Apart from this, the author received the Medal of the Year 2008. He is a Bangladeshi radio and television lyricist.
